Founded in 2018, The Priya Nagar MD Foundation was created in the memory of a young physician who had suffered from chronic kidney disease since childhood and lost her battle to lymphoma in 2017. In collaboration with the University of Alabama, board members and volunteers have coordinated numerous events and have raised funds to further this cause.
